Analytics and Insights Specialist

Mō te tūranga | About the Role
As an Analytics and Insights Specialist at Westpac, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the bank's strategies and initiatives. Your expertise in analysing data will provide valuable insights and actionable recommendations across the customer base, ultimately helping achieve desired outcomes. Your passion for delivering right message, right time marketing communications to customers will help to improve customer experience and engagement.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for customer experience and is looking to grow their skills. You will be energetic and passionate about collaborating with stakeholders and colleagues and diligent about quality and accuracy of the data and analytics you produce. Your ability to problem solve, build strong relationship and high attention to detail are other key qualities that will add value.

• Maintain and run BAU reporting and processes, ensuring accuracy and looking for improvements to efficiency and quality.

• Provide data support for customer communications including target group creation for marketing and service comms

• Translate business requirements into technical requirements and explain technical solutions to business stakeholders.

• Experience in delivering customer communications, from translating business requirements, through to data delivery and implementation

• Experience working with complex data and able to provide quality reporting

• Ability to manage and build relationships with internal stakeholders and teams.

• Strong skills in SAS or SQL

• Experience with Power BI

• Solid verbal and written presentation and communication skills.
