NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week in our Walnut Creek, CA office.

As our Manager, Paid Acquisition, you’ll be the architect of our cross-channel strategy, mentoring a team of specialists. You will be spearheading our paid acquisition efforts. This role involves designing and executing our comprehensive, cross-channel campaigns and providing mentorship to a team of dedicated specialists.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Oversees Digital Marketing Objectives
  • Develops strategies to drive business performance through the execution of paid advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, Reddit, Yelp, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Monitors CPL, ROAS and CPA. Identify trends and pivot strategies in real-time to capitalize on platform shifts.
  • Partner effectively with various cross-functional teams, including Creative, Marketing Platforms, Marketing, and Marketing Intelligence to achieve paid acquisition goals.

• Team Management
  • Manage a high-performing team of Paid Acquisition Specialists, providing consistent mentorship and professional development to elevate individual and collective performance.
  • Cultivate a rigorous culture of experimentation and continuous testing to optimize campaign performance and discover new growth opportunities.

• Insights & Reporting
  • Track core KPIs to provide clear visibility into performance and drive data-backed decision-making.
  • Provides recommendations and solutions for both short and long term actions to executive management.
  • Provides meaningful insights that enable tangible improvements, inform strategic decisions, and optimize campaign performance.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

• Proven track record in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) performance marketing; experience in financial services or membership-based models is a significant plus.
• Deep knowledge of the Google Marketing Platform, Meta Business Suite, Reddit, Yelp, TikTok and Pinterest.
• A portfolio of success in scaling digital programs and improving campaign performance at an enterprise level.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail on content quality and analytics reporting.

EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

• Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field or combination of education and relevant experience
  • 5 years of experience in digital marketing including 2–3 years of proven leadership or people management experience

• Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or MBA

We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $132,465.00 - Mid: $165,580.00
