What you will accomplish with us
As an Intern - Systems Administrator, you will be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

• Understanding and validating the needs expressed by the team, in close collaboration with the Product Owner (PO) and Functional Analysts; 
• Assisting in the design, programming, configuration, and integration of solutions;
• Communicating and discussing technical choices with peers;
• Assisting in validating code produced by peers;
• Providing technical support for software solutions once deployed to production (incidents, maintenance, monitoring, etc.);
• Actively contributing to ensuring that the documentation required for the sustainability of developed components exists, is valid, and remains up to date;
• Actively collaborating in all team activities (Agile ceremony planning, definition of done, etc.).

We are looking for someone who:

• Is currently enrolled in a college diploma (DEC) or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and must complete a credited internship in Winter 2027 as part of their studies;
• Is recognized for their motivation to learn;
• Stands out for their ability to collaborate;
• Demonstrates a high level of autonomy in carrying out technical tasks and solving problems;
• Has an advanced level of English proficiency, as the individual will be required to collaborate with unilingual English-speaking internal partners and consult technical documentation in English on a daily basis.

The typical hiring range for this position is $25 to $30,50 CAD per hour; the base salary offered varies according to years of study and the position status (student or intern). At iA, we are committed to offering a fair, equitable, and market-based compensation structure. Our market data is updated annually to reflect the most current market conditions.
