Inside the Role

Analyzes designs, methods and internal manufacturing processes. Develops strategies and initiatives for operational efficiency. Implements process improvements and changes in product design and manufacturing methods. Implements continuous improvement initiatives using various Lean methodologies and principles (e.g., 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Kaizen, etc.).

Position offers a starting salary range of $95,000- $121,000 USD 

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Analyzes designs, methods and internal manufacturing processes

  • Develops strategies and initiatives for operational efficiency

  • Implements process improvements and changes in product design and manufacturing methods

  • Implements continuous improvement initiatives using various Lean methodologies and principles (e.g., 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Kaizen, etc.)

  • Facilitates collaboration between Quality and Manufacturing Engineering to identify and reduce quality defects, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and implement sustainable solutions that enhance truck quality, manufacturing performance, and customer satisfaction.


Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelors' degree in Engineering or related field and 5 years of relevant experience required.

  • Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment

  • Demonstrated experience in managing a team and driving continuous improvement initiatives

  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, supplier quality assurance, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001:2015)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use internal DTNA systems for data analysis

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and methodologies for quality improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Principles, A3, PRT).


Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • experience in automotive or heavy duty truck industry
