Admissions Coordinator – Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehab.

What you will do: Responsibilities listed include but not limited to:
- Receives and responds to incoming calls from referral sources/potential clients, consulting with the leadership team to assess the company's capability to address client needs.
- Serves as the initial contact for referrals, gathering data, assessing clinical needs, and completing Referral Intake Sheets.
- Showcases exceptional communication skills, serving as a representative of our organization.
- Advocates for the patients to ensure they receive appropriate services.
- Communicates with leadership to determine referral appropriateness and verifies benefits.
- Staffs cases with appropriate team members in consultation with leadership.
- Collaborates with leadership team to prioritize and process referrals, updating referral sources and coordinating authorizations for timely admissions.
What you will need:
- Minimum of Associate’s degree in business or health care related field preferred.
- Related admissions and medical insurance work experience will be considered in place of degree.
- Broad knowledge of medical terminology.
- Proficient data entry and computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Able to function in position with minimal supervision.
- Effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
