Warehouse Baler Operator

Direct Mail Solutions is a full-service mail and fulfillment company located in Richmond, Virginia. DMS is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Baler Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating the baler, producing cardboard and paper bales, recording weights, and preparing materials for recycling shipment. Pay:
$15.00-$15.50/Hourly

Responsibilities:

1. Operate cardboard and paper baling equipment safely and efficiently.
2. Inspect baler equipment and ensure all doors and latches are secure before operation.
3. Create, wire, and safely eject completed bales according to company procedures.
4. Place and transport bales on pallets using approved equipment.
5. Weigh and record bale weights accurately.
6. Load completed bales onto recycling trailers.
7. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
8. Report equipment issues or safety concerns immediately.

Qualifications:

1. Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
2. Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently.
3. Comfortable working around machinery and lifting materials as needed.
4. Strong attention to detail and reliability.
5. Forklift experience is a plus.

Thursday - Saturday, 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM
