Temporary Deputy Tax Clerk I
Performs clerical work scanning property tax files and assigning to proper account/year. Will assess personal property, audit DMV records, process bills and mail. Handles inquiries regarding personal property on the phone and in person. Assists taxpayers in completing forms and furnishes information. Assists with departmental special projects as assigned. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years related experience and/or training in general office work and dealing with the general public; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Assists taxpayers in completing forms and furnishes information. Makes data entries on computer terminal. Posts information to records as needed. Appears in court as needed.
Assists with departmental projects as assigned. Rotates at DMV satellite location. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years related experience and/or training in general office work and dealing with the general public; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
