Tareen Dermatology is excited to expand into Thief River Falls, Minnesota, with the opening of our newest clinic in December 2026. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team and play an important role in delivering exceptional dermatologic care while helping launch a brand-new clinic location.

We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Licensed Practical Nurse to join our growing team.

The Licensed Practical Nurse works closely with our providers to deliver exceptional patient care. This role includes preparing patients for visits, documenting medical encounters, assisting with procedures, providing patient education, and helping ensure a seamless experience throughout each patient’s visit.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment, and is passionate about providing outstanding care and creating a positive experience for every patient.

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Active Minnesota LPN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail

Preferred

• Dermatology experience
• Previous outpatient clinic experience
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Multi-state compact nursing license

What You Will Do

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Obtain and document patient medical histories and vital signs
• Accurately document provider encounters within the EMR
• Assist physicians with biopsies, excisions, cosmetic procedures, and other treatments
• Provide wound care, suture removal, and post-procedure instructions
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans
• Handle and label specimens according to established protocols
• Generate orders and coordinate patient care as directed by providers
• Maintain exam room cleanliness, supplies, and equipment
• Follow OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, and clinic safety standards
• Participate in clinic training and support activities as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
