Position Purpose:
The Program Administrator manages the daily operation of medical education programs to strengthen the performance of Mount Carmel Health System graduates and undergraduate learners.
The Program Administrator provides technical and operational expertise ensuring accreditation standards, requirements, educational and quality assurance outcomes are met while promoting system strategies and priorities.
What You Will Do:
- The Program Administrator collaborates with members of the Mount Carmel Health System and Medical Education Team to support the standardization and alignment of medical education across the Mount Carmel Health system. The position is a requirement of the accrediting agencies including the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME).
- The Program Administrator manages the daily operation of assigned program(s) including evaluation and assessment, curriculum, recruitment, onboarding / orientation, graduation / promotion, budget maintenance, credentialing, and adherence to accreditation requirements. The Program Administrator is the content expert for assigned program(s) and is responsible for interpreting and analyzing program and academic requirements, institutional policies and procedures and program data.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health care administration, social science or other related discipline.
OR
Minimum of (5) years of experience providing support to various business operations, Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Training Administrator of Graduate Medical Education (TAGME) preferred.
