About the Role
As a UX Designer, you will:
- Partner with Domain Leads and Product Owners to create cohesive experiences across products within your domain.
- Own end-to-end product design for your area—from problem definition to delivery.
- Create intuitive, engaging experiences that help users make confident financial decisions.
- Conduct user research to uncover user pain points, motivations, and unmet needs—and translate findings into actionable design improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and make value-driven design decisions.
- Produce a wide range of design deliverables, including user journeys, workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and experience artifacts that address current pain points and unmet user needs.
- Develop holistic solutions that integrate seamlessly into our wealth management product ecosystem.
- Design and deliver responsive experiences for web and mobile, and work closely with engineers to translate designs into successful products.
- Apply service design principles to improve user experiences across channels and touchpoints.
- Coordinate with the broader firm-wide UX organization to share best practices and promote a design-centric culture.
- Ensure accessibility by thoroughly testing design deliverables and meeting WCAG/ADA standards.
Key Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience as a UX Designer with a strong record of contributing to successful product launches.
- Strong UX expertise, including:
- user research
- interaction design
- information architecture
- and experience strategy / experience design approaches
(with depth in one or more of these areas)
- Proven experience conducting and applying user research throughout the design process (discovery, evaluation, and validation).
- Strong practical understanding of end-to-end product design (from discovery and problem definition to design execution and implementation).
- Demonstrated ability to solve business and user needs through research-informed design, reflected in your portfolio.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience designing intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience and drive engagement.
- Ability to leverage research insights, user data, wireframes, and prototypes to validate concepts and deliver effective solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and modern design tools (including AI-enabled tools).
- Experience with service design topics such as:
- journey mapping
- service blueprinting
- and cross-channel experience design
- Thrives in a collaborative environment and works effectively with multidisciplinary teams across a large organization.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving and critical thinking in ambiguity-driven situations.
- Shows resilience and adaptability when facing challenges.
