Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
- Board Certified.
- Minimum 6 months of experience as an NP.
- Proficient in performing diagnostic tests, operating medical. equipment, and utilizing electronic health records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent. organizational skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform physical exams and patient observations.
- Record patients' medical histories and symptoms.
- Create patient care plans and contribute to existing ones.
- Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests.
- Monitor and operate medical equipment.
- Diagnose health issues.
- Administer medicine and other treatments.
- Detect changes in patients' health and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Consult with healthcare professionals and families.
- Educate patients and their families on managing and preventing illness and injury.
