The Application Engineer is responsible for Provide engineering support to MicroE customers to achieve sales growth. Activities incl. on-site engineering service, engineering work to install Pall filters by co-working with 3rd party contractors.].

This position reports to the SLS Manager and is part of the MicroE -SLS located in Zhubei, Hsinchu and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Provide first response 24/7 for customer enquiries on filtration engineering issues
• Visit customers with Sales team or independently and catch up customer issues and take temporary counter measures if available. Discuss with Pall internal resources/3rd party contractors and implement permanent counter measure.
• Work with Sales team and use outsource engineering company for filter retrofit.
• Outsource Engineering services for retrofit and install Pall products.
• R&D for filter configuration.

The essential requirements of the job include:

•  BSc or MSc in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in English (besides local language). 
• Minimum three years of technical experience in semiconductor OEM industry with knowledge in semicon advanced process.
• Filter related facility experience is a plus
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent report writing and communication skills

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Ability to travel – list specifics % travel, overnight, within territory or locations
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to ##lb, any other physical requirements

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• 甲類衛生安全業務主管.特化作業業務主管,有機溶劑作業主管
• 急救人員安全衛生教育 or 丙類衛生安全業務主管
