Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Alarm Monitoring in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify emergency services and/or site contacts when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate relevant information during shift changes, and maintain a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
