Why this Role Matters
As a Demand Planner, this role plays a key part in building a reliable, transparent, and standardized forecasting process for the responsible business area. By combining data, market insights, customer trends, and stakeholder input, the role helps Goodyear anticipate demand over a 19–24-month horizon and make informed business and supply chain decisions. Through strong cross-functional collaboration, analytical expertise, and continuous improvement, this role contributes directly to forecast accuracy, operational excellence, and effective supply planning.
What You’ll Do
Lead and continuously improve the demand planning process, ensuring forecasting methods are standardized, transparent, documented, and aligned with the Goodyear One Team approach.
Develop and maintain a robust, fact-based 19–24-month rolling forecast, using Machine Learning forecasts as a foundation and incorporating relevant market, customer, and business insights.
Partner with Sales Operations and key stakeholders to gather, challenge, and align assumptions and support the monthly market/hub forecast sign-off process.
Monitor forecast performance and KPIs, investigate significant variances and root causes, and drive corrective actions to improve forecast accuracy.
Act as a demand planning and forecasting expert for the area, ensuring alignment with business direction, market trends, and customer needs.
Facilitate collaboration across Sales Operations, Product Marketing, Market Research Intelligence, and Supply Planning to ensure consistent and actionable demand information.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing new ideas, methods, and tools, while supporting Business Unit initiatives and promoting a stronger focus on forecasting performance across the organization.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, with 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, or a related environment.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a solid understanding of forecasting models, statistical methods, and demand planning principles.
Strong business acumen and the ability to translate market, customer, and business insights into reliable and actionable forecasts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, facilitate alignment, and build effective relationships across functions and organizational levels.
Good knowledge of Supply Chain processes and experience with relevant systems and tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP APO DP, EDW, and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment, with flexibility, initiative, and a collaborative approach to driving change and continuous improvement.
Fluent English is required; additional language skills are considered an advantage, together with a reliable, accurate, organized, and results-oriented approach.
We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Even if you don’t meet every listed qualification, we encourage you to apply.
