Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Burlington, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and stakeholders while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Support a professional, orderly environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
