Job Description
 

We are seeking a Manager, Promotional Review Committee (PRC) who is responsible for leading the end-to-end promotional review process for assigned brands, serving as the primary liaison between Business Owners, Agencies, and PRC Reviewers. This role manages promotional material lifecycle activities, facilitates PRC meetings, drives review readiness and stakeholder alignment, and leads operational excellence initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong project management, cross-functional leadership, and process improvement skills to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable promotional review operations.

Key Responsibilities

PRC Operations & Lifecycle Management

  • Manage the end-to-end review, approval, and expiration lifecycle of promotional materials within Veeva Vault PromoMats.

  • Ensure submissions meet quality standards and review readiness requirements.

  • Provide proactive guidance to Business Owners and agency partners regarding PRC processes and expectations.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for PRC process and system-related questions.

PRC Facilitation & Governance

  • Lead day-to-day operations of assigned PRCs.

  • Facilitate PRC meetings and drive efficient, compliant reviews.

  • Create and distribute agendas and supporting materials.

  • Capture consensus outcomes and document key decisions.

  • Manage expedited reviews and complex review scenarios.

Brand & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary PRC Operations lead for assigned brands.

  • Partner closely with Business Owners, Regulatory, Legal, Medical, and agency stakeholders.

  • Drive prioritization and planning activities to support portfolio objectives and launch readiness.

  • Navigate escalations and align stakeholders toward timely resolution of issues.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, and scalability of PRC operations.

  • Identify process gaps and recommend solutions.

  • Support innovation efforts and new commercial initiatives.

Planning & Strategic Support

  • Drive use of master planning calendars and promotional review forecasting.

  • Partner with business teams to prioritize review volume and manage capacity.

  • Anticipate risks and implement mitigation plans to support key milestones and product launches.

Key Competencies

Minimum Required Education and Years of Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and Seven Years’ Experience OR

  • Masters' Degree and Five Years’ Experience

Preferred Requirements

  • Product launch experience

  • 5 years of pharma/biotech experience preferred

  • Co-promotion experience a plus

  • Experience with DAM systems and claims library

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to resolve problems logically, quickly and proactively

  • Extensive understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards applicable to Promotional Review

  • Extensive experience with content management systems (Veeva Vault PromoMats preferred)

  • Must possess strong project management and organizational skills

  • Adept to working in a complex and cross-functional environment

  • Possesses a growth mindset and ability to embrace change and pivot when needed

  • Ability to influence people without direct authority

The salary range for this position is: $136,340.00 - $176,440.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
