K Pak Operators - Amarillo, Texas

Job Details:

SUMMARY:

Operate the K-pac machine and make adjustments as needed to produce ground beef chubs. Responsible for food safety, Team Member safety in the work area, policy and procedure compliance, Team Member training and development, and required paperwork. Also responsible for tracking efficiencies, yields, film cost usage, and DMC product. These items will be monitored and reported to the supervisor, along with any other duties assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of ground beef experience preferred.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Basic computer skills required.

TRAVEL: None.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor the area and support Team Members when the supervisor is unavailable.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required; bilingual skills preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able and willing to continuously move 5-20 lbs. ground beef chubs. Must be able and willing to lift push pull carry up to 85 lbs.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong mechanical and technical aptitude. Must be observant, detail-oriented, a strong team leader, and have good problem-solving skills.
