JOB SUMMARY:
Law School Career Development Office
Student Assistant
The Law School’s Career Development Office (CDO) seeks an undergraduate student assistant for approximately 4 hours per week during the fall 2026 semester. The student assistant role will provide clerical support and complete other duties as assigned.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Greeting visitors to the CDO and answer main telephone.
- Submit job postings in the career database (LawQuest) and update employer records.
- Provide general clerical support.
- Operate basic office equipment.
- Assist team members with various projects including job fairs/interview programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently on assigned projects while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Must be an initiative-taker and can prioritize workload.
- Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
HOURS:
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every other Friday from 12:00 – 1:15 p.m. There may be an opportunity for additional hours on an as needed basis.
