Description
Responsibilities:
- Operate haul trucks and equipment-moving vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Transport heavy machinery, construction equipment, materials, and other loads to and from job sites.
- Load, secure, inspect, transport, and unload equipment according to company and DOT safety requirements.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical or safety issues.
- Assist with positioning equipment at job sites and coordinating loading/unloading operations.
- Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules, and site-specific safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate vehicle, load, and delivery documentation.
- Keep trucks and equipment clean and in safe operating condition.
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, operators, and job-site personnel.
- Follow all company policies, OSHA/DOT requirements, and applicable transportation regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience hauling or moving heavy equipment preferred.
- Valid driver's license; CDL Class A preferred/required depending on equipment operated.
- Clean driving record.
- Experience with lowboys, trailers, dump trucks, haul trucks, or similar equipment is a plus.
- Ability to safely secure and transport heavy equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable attendance and a professional attitude.
