About the Position
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our production team as an Automated Fabric Cutting Machine Operator.
The position involves operating a Gerber Paragon HX 2.0 automated cutting machine used to cut jersey, fleece, knit and other textile fabrics.
Previous Gerber or CNC experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person.
We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable using computers, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
What You Will Learn
Through hands-on training, you will learn how to:
- Operate and safely work around a Gerber Paragon HX 2.0
- Prepare and set up cutting jobs
- Load and position textile materials
- Select and verify production jobs and cutting files
- Operate the automated cutting process
- Inspect cut parts for quality and accuracy
- Recognize and resolve common cutting problems
- Perform routine operator maintenance
- Follow production and quality procedures
- Work with different types of jersey, fleece and knit fabrics
- Maintain accurate production records

Previous experience in any of the following is a plus, but not required:
- Textile or apparel manufacturing
- Fabric cutting
- CNC machine operation
- Automated machinery
- Production manufacturing
- Gerber, Lectra, Eastman or similar cutting equipment
- Sewing or garment production
Training & Advancement
We will provide paid, hands-on training on the Gerber Paragon system and our production workflow.
Employees who successfully complete training will have the opportunity to become Certified Paragon Operators and advance to Senior Operator / Setup Technician positions.
Our goal is to develop a team of cross-trained operators so that employees can operate the equipment, set up jobs, troubleshoot routine issues and support one another.
No prior Gerber Paragon experience is required.
