Description
The Fleet Sales & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with commercial fleet customers while supporting local marketing initiatives that drive new business and customer retention. This position focuses on identifying fleet sales opportunities, building partnerships with businesses that operate multiple vehicles, coordinating customer outreach, and promoting Take 5 Oil Change services to commercial accounts.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and customer-focused professional who enjoys sales, relationship building, community involvement, and working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Requirements
Fleet Sales & Business Development
Identify and prospect local businesses, contractors, municipalities, dealerships, rental companies, delivery services, and other organizations with fleet vehicles.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with fleet managers, business owners, and purchasing decision-makers.
Present Take 5 Oil Change fleet services, pricing, programs, and benefits to prospective customers.
Generate new fleet accounts through phone calls, email outreach, networking, in-person visits, referrals, and community events.
Follow up consistently with prospects and existing fleet customers to increase sales and retention.
Maintain a pipeline of prospective and active fleet accounts.
Coordinate fleet customer onboarding and communicate account requirements to appropriate store and management teams.
Monitor fleet account activity and identify opportunities to increase vehicle visits and revenue.
Work with management to address customer concerns and ensure a positive fleet customer experience.
Marketing & Community Outreach
Develop and execute local marketing initiatives designed to increase store traffic and brand awareness.
Build relationships with local businesses, community organizations, chambers of commerce, dealerships, and other strategic partners.
Coordinate promotional events, business-to-business outreach, community events, and local partnerships.
Distribute marketing materials and promote fleet and retail services within the assigned market.
Assist with social media, email marketing, promotional campaigns, and other local marketing activities as needed.
Track marketing activities and provide recommendations based on results.
Represent the Take 5 brand professionally at community and business events.
Sales Administration & Reporting
Maintain accurate fleet customer and prospect information in CRM or other company systems.
Track sales activity, leads, appointments, account growth, and customer retention.
Prepare regular reports regarding fleet sales performance and marketing activity.
Assist with fleet pricing, account documentation, invoicing, and other administrative requirements.
Coordinate with store managers and operations teams to ensure fleet customers receive timely and consistent service.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, customer service, account management, business development, or a related field preferred.
Experience with B2B sales or fleet services is a plus.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to independently manage a sales territory and prospect list.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Comfortable making outbound sales calls and conducting in-person business visits.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems, and basic reporting tools.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, or community events as business needs require.
