Sales Support Representative

Summary:

The primary function of the Sales Support Representative is to assist and support the Company’s outside sales force by supplying quotes, pricing and stock, entering orders/reserves by working tickets and answering incoming phone calls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attend two mandatory, nationally hosted sales meetings per year (typically, in February & August). During these meetings, one Sales Support Representative rotates responsibility for working in the office.
• Assist at the national sales meeting line showings (standing and folding), handing out story of the lines, distributing reports and materials needed in the zone meetings during this time.
• Answering incoming calls from reps and transferred customers from Customer Service to assist with requests, such as orders, reserves, memos, price, stock, mill inquiries, claims, lookups, quotes, and more.
• Work ticket system submitted to department by processing memo orders, maintenance orders, file claims, perform mill checks, process CFA’s, check and approve pricing, image FR certificates, etc.
• Assist specialty customers assigned by manager to process orders and respond directly to their emails.
• Be familiarized with our selling products and the appropriate teams.
• Correspond with customers and OSRs who email directly.
• Make sample kits for sales reps as requested by OSR or management
• Process outside sales representative's memos in Customer Relationship Management system
• Assist other employees with special projects as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School education or equivalent
• Must work well with others
• Must be able to multitask
• Must be able to work in a noisy area independently
• Process knowledge of Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
• Internet navigation
• Data entry and 10-key experience is helpful
• Must posessess strong typing skills
• Good communication skills –oral and written
