Engineering | Civil Environmental and Geodetic EngineeringThe Research Technician supports research activities by preparing field equipment and study materials, conducting participant home visits, collecting biospecimens and environmental samples, processing research samples, and maintaining accurate study documentation. This position requires adherence to research protocols, institutional review board (IRB) requirements, biosafety standards, and data integrity procedures to ensure the successful execution of research studies.

Hiring Range: $15.86 - $20.74
The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED, 1 year of relevant experience in laboratory or research, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to accurately collect, record, and maintain research data. Proficient in multitasking problem-solving and critical thinking. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or a related scientific field. Experience conducting research activities involving human subjects, including participant interviews, surveys, or field-based data collection. Experience collecting, handling, processing, or documenting biological or environmental samples in accordance with established protocols.
