Job Description Summary
The Logistics Leader will lead all activities and processes related to Logistics inbound and outbound for Power Transmission business to ensure an optimal fulfillment solution for GE manufacturing sites and its customers. You will develop strategies, processes, and capabilities to optimize our project delivery portfolio, working in close cooperation with Sourcing, Manufacturing, Sales / Commercial, Project Management and Finance to prepare for flawless execution and business demands.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality project execution to ensure strong customer satisfaction and address customer concerns in a timely, professional manner.
- Lead investment planning activities through financial and strategic analysis to support business growth and long-term profitability.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new projects and investment opportunities, covering both technical and financial aspects.
- Prepare, manage, and track CAPEX and OPEX budgets, initial cost estimates, and detailed project budgets.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses and evaluate ROI, IRR, NPV, and payback period to support sound investment decisions.
- Build and maintain financial models for investment decisions, risk assessment, scenario planning, and cash flow forecasting.
- Identify budget variances, recommend corrective actions, and drive cost optimization without compromising quality, safety, or timelines.
- Maintain cost reports and financial dashboards to provide clear visibility into project and financial performance.
- Perform installation, configuration, customization, and upgrades of APM solutions in line with customer requirements and design specifications.
- Provide technical support for APM projects throughout implementation and delivery.
- Update standard system architecture and develop technical design specifications based on customer-specific needs.
- Leverage product capabilities to promote standardization, limit customization, and maximize reuse of existing solution content.
- Create work breakdown structures and estimate effort for standard technical activities.
- Gather, document, and structure business and application requirements through stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Services Consultants, Product Development, Commercial teams, customers, partners, and integrators throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Support project decisions related to design, functionality, budget, timing, and customer expectations to keep delivery on track.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma, Bachelor's or Master’s Degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Planning, Project Management, and/or Logistics Planning
- Strong data analytics skills and proficiency with relevant digital logistics tools
- Demonstrated ability to lead successful cross-functional programs within a complex matrix organization
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- This role requires 20-25% travel across the globe depending on the business need
