Digital Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator, FHSU Online & MCSSJob Description
The Digital Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator supports the recruitment and enrollment of prospective online students through the coordination of digital recruitment initiatives, enrollment operations, and recruitment technologies. This position is responsible for planning and executing virtual recruitment events, coordinating mass recruitment-focused communication campaigns, and assisting with the administration and continuous improvement of the University's customer relationship management (CRM) system and related recruitment technologies.
Working collaboratively with university partners, the Digital Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator helps ensure prospective students receive timely, accurate, and engaging communications while supporting efficient enrollment processes and data-informed recruitment strategies. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills, technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments in support of the University's enrollment goals.
Reports to: Director - FHSU Online & MCSS
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations or related field or four years of experience in lieu of degree.
- One or more years of professional experience in digital communications, event coordination, marketing, recruitment or related work.
- Demonstrated professional experience working with CRM systems, digital communication platforms, recruitment technologies, or similar technology-based tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations or a related field or six years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Three or more years of professional experience in higher education recruitment, admissions, enrollment management, marketing, or student services.
- Three or more years of professional experience coordinating virtual events, webinars, digital programming, or recruitment/marketing campaigns.
- Three or more years of professional experience working with CRM systems, including communication workflows, automation, reporting, data management, or troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
Digital Recruitment Events & Programming
- Plan and execute webinars, Online Open House, virtual information sessions, and other online recruitment events.
- Coordinate presenters, registrations, communications, technology, and follow-up.
- Evaluate participation and recommend improvements.
Digital Communications & Social Media
- Develop and coordinate digital content to engage prospective online and military-connected students across social media and other digital communication channels.
- Support the planning, scheduling, and execution of recruitment-focused social media content and communication campaigns.
- Collaborate with university partners to ensure digital content is timely, accurate, engaging, and consistent with institutional branding and communication standards.
- Monitor engagement and campaign performance and recommend improvements based on available data and emerging best practices.
CRM & Recruitment Technologies
- Monitor communication workflows.
- Assist with automation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Support CRM data quality and reporting.
- Serve as a functional resource for enrollment technologies.
Enrollment Operations & Projects
- Support operational recruitment initiatives.
- Maintain documentation and reports.
- Assist with cross-departmental enrollment projects.
Campus Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Admissions, Academic Affairs, Financial Assistance, and others.
- Participate on committees.
- Support strategic enrollment initiatives.
