Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supervisor de Almacén - Rutas to join our logistics team. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient planning, coordination, and execution of delivery routes, while maintaining high standards in operations, customer service, and safety. Responsibilities

  • Supervise the planning and coordination of delivery routes for both in-house drivers and independent contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with established standards for sales, operations, and customer service.
  • Oversee drivers and delivery operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Coordinate routes, dispatches, and the distribution of merchandise.
  • Monitor deliveries and driver performance using GPS tracking systems.
  • Optimize logistical processes to improve efficiency and meet delivery timelines.
  • Address customer issues and coordinate resolutions with other departments.
  • Ensure operational compliance, safety protocols, and proper documentation.
  • Lead, train, and manage the transportation team to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma (Bachillerato) is required.
  • Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse supervision.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in using GPS tracking systems and logistics software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Strong communication skills for interdepartmental coordination and customer interaction.
  • Ability to work the designated shift: 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
  • Reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Day-to-Day

  • Begin the day by reviewing delivery schedules and assigning routes to drivers.
  • Monitor real-time delivery progress using GPS systems and address any delays or issues.
  • Communicate with drivers to ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer complaints or delivery challenges.
  • Analyze logistical processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct team meetings, provide training, and address any personnel concerns.
  • Prepare and review operational reports to ensure compliance with company policies.
