Production Operator

Location: Raleigh, NC
Description
This is an hourly, non-exempt, full time role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, instruct, and train other production associates in the areas of safety, quality, batching, operation, and maintenance in the Production area.
- Safely and with a high attention to quality, batch raw materials into finished bulk following specific Batch Manufacturing Procedures.
- Safely ensure proper operation and maintenance of the packaging equipment.
- Conduct assigned quality checks and accurately complete all associated paperwork to ensure all products meet set quality standards.
- Maintain good manufacturing processes and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Perform line changeovers and set up equipment.
- Follow guidelines for proper cleaning and sanitizing of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product and equipment issues
- Alert the Production Supervisor or Operations Manager immediately if there are any safety or quality concerns
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized area
- Learn and aid in implementing organization and 5s in the workplace.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience working within a warehouse/manufacturing environment
- Mechanical aptitude
