WFS - Recycling Weekends Production Associate

Job Overview

As a Recycling Associate, you are responsible for sorting wood materials for drying and recovering and re-working other materials for salvage. The position needs to have a good understanding of our raw materials and fabrication equipment.

Highlights of your role

• Inspect and sort wood materials
• Identify defects in raw materials
• Attach approporiate labels and tags to products and packages
• Operate hand power tools

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• Perform repetitive assembly tasks using hand and power tools, and automated equipment.
• Operate hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble product.
• Perform light fabrication (drill holes, measure, cut, saw) for product sub-assembly.
• Ability to communicate in oral or written English to carry out essential production functions and work with warehouse team to get parts to assembly.
• Read visual and written instructions on a computer screen to retrieve parts and deliver to the production lines.
• Ability to be cross trained in multiple departments.
• Notify Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• General experience with computers is preferred
