Embedded Software Engineer (C/C++)

Our client is an international company that specializes in digital night vision and thermal optics for hunting enthusiasts. Their products have been on the market for over 20 years. Looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join the team.

Tasks and responsibilities:
Development firmware/drivers for embedded system (SoC ARM).

Requirements:

• Knowledge of embedded software development, RTOS, and peripheral drivers
• Technical Skills with C, gcc, Linux, Git, make, shell scripting
• Good algorithmic knowledge
• Practical knowledge of Linux development environment
• Experience in GIT (system version control)
• Experience in driver development

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field (Computer Engineering, Mathematics, etc)
Professional Skills: Strong analytical skills; multi-disciplinary approach to problem-solving
Team player

Will be a plus:
CMOS image sensor technology
Experience in development of network applications, understanding of OSI and network protocols
Digital image processing algorithms
Digital camera architecture pipeline
Understanding of Linux internal structure (directories/files structure, processes, configs, etc)
Design patterns
C++11
Digital schematic basics (reading and understanding of electronic schematics)
Experience in Atlassian product (JIRA, Confluence)

Languages: English
Ukrainian or Russian a plus
