Nutrition Services Attendant - Nutrition A

 

 

 

Maintains and cleans service areas and equipment according to established procedures and standards. Provides general and food handling services for customers or patients. and ensures a positive customer experience.

 

 

Essential Functions:

• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, tables, and work areas to maintain hygiene standards according to established procedures and standards.
• Assists with the stocking and maintenance of supplies and food items.
• Operates and maintains various equipment pertinent to food services, such as dish machines and cooking appliances.
• Ensures a positive experience for customers.
• May assist with the preparation and serving of food to customers.
• May operate cash registers and handle money as applicable.

Education Requirement:

High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

Skills:

• Working knowledge of safe food handling practices and sanitation standards.
• Effective communication skills.

Experience:

Food service experience, preferred.

Physical Requirements:

OCCASIONALLY: Climb stairs/ladder, Color vision, Computer skills, Decision Making, Fume /Gases /Vapors, Lifting / Carrying: 21-40 lbs, Lifting / Carrying: 41-60 lbs, Problem solving, Pushing / Pulling: 100 lbs or greater with assistance, Sitting
