Environmental Compliance Specialist
We're hiring a motivated individual to join our Green Taxes team and gain practical experience in EPR and environmental reporting. If you are interested in topics such as circular economy, packaging waste, or producer responsibility, and you want to develop solid analytical skills, we encourage you to apply.
The Environmental Compliance Specialist position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced specialists and gain insight into environmental reporting processes within a large organization.
What you will bring
- Preparing reports and data sets required under EPR regulations.
- Collecting and verifying data related to products, packaging, and waste streams.
- Working with compliance-supporting tools (e.g., reporting systems, databases).
- Research and analyze green tax regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with tax laws.
Activity details
- Preparation of EPR reporting for entities in scope
- Administration of the daily operations regarding green taxes reporting
- Cooperation with relevant advisors, collection schemes, and green taxes reporting to authorities
- Monitoring country-specific legislation and ensuring that relevant changes are applied
- Ensuring that all filing deadlines of the business are met and that payments are made on time
- Management of the waste database tool or another register in EU countries
- Participation in external controls and audits related to green taxes
- Transfer of green taxes activities from local entities to GBS structure
