Overview

Job Summary:
Provides routine, non skilled patient treatments as prescribed by the physician and directed by the licensed professional. Assists in maintaining inventory of supplies, forms and organizing the clinical environment for safe and effective patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists the licensed professional by performing non-skilled activities that are critical to a patient's treatment.
• Transports patients safely and in a timely fashion.
• Assists with patient movement from bed to chairs, wheelchairs, and other locations, as well as assist with repositioning and ambulation (walking).
• Work under the guidance of licensed professionals, collaborating to determine the best methods for patient mobility
• Uses various patient handling equipment, including slings, lifts, and walkers to safely assist patients with movement
• Accurately document patient mobility activities and any concerns they observe, communicating with the healthcare team as needed
• Boone Health has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: None Required
Supervisor Experience: None Required
Licenses & Certification: Basic Life Support
