As a Security Officer Reception Monitor in Pittsburgh, PA (Penn Ave), you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk professional in a healthcare location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a central station, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting students, staff, visitors, and vendors, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and following site-specific access procedures.
• Monitor entrances, lobby activity, phones, radios, and/or cameras from a stationary post, reporting unusual activity and helping to address security-related concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, medical situations, and other critical events by following posted instructions, contacting appropriate personnel, and documenting details accurately.
• Support daily front desk operations by maintaining visitor logs, issuing badges or passes when appropriate, answering questions, and communicating clearly with staff regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or access requests.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and disruptions by observing activity at the reception area, enforcing site policies professionally, and escalating concerns through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
