Description

Quality Management

  • Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
  • Establish quality policies, objectives, procedures, work instructions, and performance metrics.
  • Lead Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities to ensure products and services consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate customer complaints, non-conformities, and product quality issues, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Coordinate internal, customer, supplier, and certification audits.
  • Monitor quality performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other improvement methodologies.
  • Ensure supplier quality requirements are established, monitored, and improved.

Health & Safety Management

  • Establish and maintain an Occupational Health and Safety Management System in accordance with ISO 45001 and applicable legislation.
  • Lead workplace hazard identification, risk assessments, and implementation of risk control measures.
  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, permit-to-work systems, and emergency response plans.
  • Conduct incident, injury, near-miss, and occupational illness investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions implemented.
  • Monitor safety performance and ensure compliance with legal and company safety requirements.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through training, engagement programs, and behavioral safety initiatives.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, drills, and crisis management processes.
  • Environmental Management

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001 and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental permits, regulations, and reporting obligations.
  • Monitor environmental aspects and impacts, including waste management, emissions, energy consumption, water usage, and pollution prevention.
  • Lead environmental risk assessments and improvement projects.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and environmental performance objectives.
  • Manage environmental inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions.
  • Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable quality, health, safety, environmental, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain required certifications, permits, records, and compliance documentation.
  • Prepare and present QHSE performance reports to senior management.
  • Act as Management Representative for integrated management systems where applicable.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, customers, external auditors, and certification bodies.
  • Leadership & People Management

  • Lead and develop the QHSE team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, quality excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with all departments to integrate QHSE requirements into daily operations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in resolving major quality, safety, and environmental issues.
