Your role

• ​Contribute to the development and optimization of metrology setups for AR/VR components and systems.
• Build, align, and operate optical measurement setups.
• Support implementation and maintenance of analysis/automation scripts in /.
• Execute measurements, document procedures and results, and support uncertainty/error analysis.
• Collaborate with optics, systems engineering, and other R&D teams to refine measurement methods and specifications.
• Support transfer of metrology solutions towards pilot or production environments.

Your Profile

• ​MSc level Engineer or scientific degree (e.g., optical engineering, physics, electrical engineering).
• Experience in optical metrology or experimental optics.
• First experience in developing or operating custom optical measurement setups is desirable.
• Basic to good knowledge of optics and optical metrology (e.g., imaging, wavefront/, alignment, surface/geometry measurement).
• Experience with Electronics.
• Practical experience in  or  for data analysis; willingness to deepen automation skills.
• Structured, curious, and learning-oriented working style; good documentation and communication skills.
• Very good English.
