As a Float Clinician at Planned Parenthood South Atlantic (PPSAT), you will play a meaningful role in ensuring patients across Virginia and North Carolina can access high-quality, compassionate reproductive health care. In this position, you will help individuals make informed, responsible decisions about their health while empowering them to live healthy and fulfilling lives.
This role offers the chance to work across multiple health centers, support diverse communities, and provide a wide spectrum of ambulatory reproductive health services—including primary reproductive care for women, limited reproductive services for men, and limited primary care for adults of all ages. Licensure Support:
If selected, PPSAT will assist you in securing:
- A North Carolina or Virginia clinical license
- DEA registration
Position Details:
- Full-time role, Monday–Friday, plus one Saturday per quarter
- Hours vary by location, averaging 30–34 hours per week
- Travel required throughout North Carolina and Virginia
- Overnight travel may be required:
PPSAT provides:
- At least three weeks’ notice for overnights (for centers 3+ hours away)
- At least one week’s notice for day travel assignments
Workdays extend until all patients are discharged, documentation is complete, and the health center is fully closed for the day
