Summary:

Performs all phases of interventional and neuro-interventional radiologic examinations on pediatric/congenital and/or adult patients in the CVIS in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Establishes and maintains filing systems.Performs administrative support duties specific to the Department Leader member being supported; may include special projects, data entry, analysis, or MOR preparation.Schedules and coordinates meetings, conferences, special events, appointments and travel arrangements. Maintains assigned calendar(s).Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls, and handles general inquiries.Composes, types and transcribes correspondence, forms, reports, presentation materials and other written communications.Orders and stocks supplies.

Additional Job Information:

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Must be able to do a regular on call schedule and work irregular shifts if needed. Must be able to respond to emergent and unexpected situation. Required Work Experience: No prior work experience required. Other Information: ACLS Certification (ACLS) within 6 months is preferred for most locations. Memorial Regional Hospital: Must have ACLS Certification (ACLS) within 6 months. Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital specific: Must have ACLS Certification (ACLS) and PALS Certification (PALS) within 6 months.Additional Education Info: Graduate of an AMA approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
