The role:

We are seeking Expressions of Interest for the role of Senior Facilities Manager for a portfolio of large-scale Industrial and Logistics parks based in Melbourne, VIC.

Reporting to the General Manager, this role is crucial for overseeing day-to-day operations and engineering across all operational aspects of the property. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong grasp of the industrial real estate sector with proven experience managing large Industrial or Business Parks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sustainability initiatives to maintain a market-leading position
• Provide technical oversight and ensure asset performance excellence
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company standards
• Oversee property maintenance programs and essential services certification
• Manage environmental and safety requirements
• Coordinate property services and access management systems
• Conduct comprehensive building inspections and manage repairs
• Supervise specialist contractors and service providers
• Implement and maintain computerised maintenance and compliance systems
• Manage tenant refurbishments and fit-out coordination
• Prepare and monitor operational budgets
• Contribute to operational reporting and strategic planning
• Oversee site operations team performance and development

What You’ll Bring:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Technical Operations/Engineering Manager in Industrial Assets
• Trade Certificate or tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook with strong technical aptitude
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Strong customer service orientation with proven ability to manage tenant expectations
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise work within tight operational and financial deadlines
• Comprehensive knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and sustainability practices
• Experience supervising teams and managing specialist contractors
