Strategic Planning and Analysis Sr Analyst

The Strategic Planning & Analysis Sr. Analyst will be involved with financial analysis work necessary to support and advise the Accenture CFO and SMD of Corporate Finance. This role will involve all or some of the following activities:

• Contributing to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses produced by the Strategic Planning & Analysis team.
• Analysis of actual costs at total Accenture level by Cost Category, to understand main drivers of variances against Accenture´s Top-Down and previous monthly run-rate.
• Connect with other areas of Finance to find out explanations of variances and validate if adjustments are needed.
• Identifying trends, variances, and potential issues, and escalating insights and observations to senior team members to support broader recommendations.
• Work as a team to update the forecast projection by Cost Category, based on the inputs received and analysis of data.

• Work in a confidential environment, with a high sense of urgency, and ensure accuracy
• Plan, coordinate work, and be flexible; multi-task and quickly switch priorities.

Educational Qualification

- Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting

Skills & Work Experience:

·2/3+ years of working in a financial role with financial reporting, analysis and accounting concepts

·2/3+ years of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

Good to have

• Understanding of the economics that drive our business, the operating model and the economic model
• Strong analytical and communication (written and oral) skills
• SAP and Opportunity Management Reporting
• Strong MS Excel skills and data manipulation (or financial modeling) skills
• Power BI and PowerPoint skills
