Job Description & Summary
As a Finance Transformation Consultant, you will support banks, non-banking financial institutions, investment funds and other financial services clients in addressing finance and reporting challenges. You will work alongside experienced professionals to deliver finance transformation projects, improve reporting processes and implement technology-enabled solutions that enhance efficiency, compliance and decision-making.You will be involved in the implementation of financial and regulatory reporting solutions, process automation initiatives and the assessment of reporting frameworks against evolving regulatory requirements. In addition to client engagements, you will contribute to the development of PwC's Finance Transformation practice and support business development initiatives.
Your responsibilities:
Understand client business models, processes and reporting requirements, with a focus on financial, regulatory and sustainability reporting
Support the design and implementation of finance transformation solutions aimed at improving compliance, efficiency and reporting quality
Participate in the implementation of reporting platforms and automation tools for Financial Services clients (e.g. Workiva, Alteryx, Lucanet or other similar reporting platforms)
Engage with client stakeholders through workshops, meetings and project discussions
Perform gap assessments against IFRS standards, regulatory requirements and sustainability reporting frameworks
Support the development of data-driven and technology-enabled reporting solutions
Contribute to proposal preparation, thought leadership and other business development activities
Skills And Qualification:
University degree in Cybernetics, Accounting and Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Banking and Finance, or a related field
Experience with Workiva, Alteryx, Lucanet, Anaplan or similar reporting solutions is considered an advantage
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Good understanding of financial reporting, IFRS, regulatory reporting or sustainability reporting
Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
Knowledge of SQL, Python or other data and automation tools
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
