Responsibilities
- Specify, design, implement, and document embedded software functionalities.
- Develop, configure, integrate, and maintain Classic AUTOSAR Basic Software modules.
- Collaborate with System, Application, and Software Verification teams to define test specifications and develop test cases.
- Develop new software features while maintaining and improving existing software components.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software integration and system-level issues.
- Participate in software debugging, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Perform code reviews and ensure software quality through static and dynamic code analysis.
- Contribute to software architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation in accordance with project and quality standards.
- Work within Agile development teams and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Classic AUTOSAR Embedded Software development.
Essential skills
- Strong experience with Classic AUTOSAR module configuration, integration, and maintenance.
- Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures and embedded software design principles.
- Experience working with multicore ECU architectures.
- Good understanding of software architecture concepts and design patterns.
- Experience with automotive software development processes, including ASPICE.
- Proficiency in static and dynamic code analysis methodologies and related tools.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English.
Desired skills
- Experience with Vector tools.
- Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262).
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity (ISO 21434).
- Experience applying MISRA C guidelines.
- Experience with MICROSAR.
- Experience in bootloader development and HSM firmware.
