Backend Developer

THE WORK:

• Responsible for developing custom software solutions by designing, coding, and enhancing components across systems or applications. Your day-to-day activities will involve using modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You are expected to build knowledge and support the team while actively participating in problem-solving discussions. Advanced proficiency in Custom Application Development is required. Intermediate proficiency in Software Design & Solutions and Software Engineering is suggested.

• Develop a strong understanding of project requirements and contribute to delivering high-quality software components.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth integration and functionality of software solutions.

• Identify and resolve common technical issues independently while seeking guidance when necessary.

• Continuously improve technical skills and apply best practices to enhance software development processes.

• Contribute to team discussions by sharing insights and recognizing recurring patterns to support overall project success.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• 1+ years of Java EE experience, knowledge of Java Spring framework and application servers (Glassfish, WebLogic)
• Object oriented analysis and design using design patterns
•  knowledge of AWS cloud platform is a plus
• Pro-active, flexible, reliable and solution-oriented attitude
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Good team player
• Excellent English skills, both in writing and speaking
• Dedication to follow agile software development principles
