$21.85 - $32.80Position Highlights:

How You’ll Impact Patient Care:
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Help pharmacists prepare and process medication orders to make sure patients and departments get the right medications on time and are charged correctly.
- Works well with others and organizes daily tasks for maximum efficiency.
- Helps keep medicine stock in good condition so that quality drugs and supplies are always available.
- Offers pharmacy services in patient care areas.
- Take part in team efforts to improve quality and support the Pharmacy Department's commitment to Total Quality principles.
- Keeps knowledge and skills up to date and helps educate others.
- Set personal goals to support quality improvement and departmental objectives.
- Follows hospital standards to create a positive work environment through good communication, relationships, and teamwork.
- Provides care tailored to different age groups as per Age Specific Care Guidelines.
What You Will Need:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- PTCB/NHA technician certification (CPhT) required.
- North Carolina Board of Pharmacy registration as a pharmacy technician required within 30 days of hire.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Successful completion of a formal technician training program preferred.
- One-year previous pharmacy experience preferred.
- Associate degree in a healthcare or business-related field preferred.
