Sime Darby Joy Industries S/BA. Project Planning & Execution
- Conduct Project Kick-Off Meetings (KOM) and ensure proper handover from the Sales Department.
- Develop and manage the Master Project Schedule, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Prepare and manage the Vendor Master Document List (VMDL) according to customer requirements.
- Liaise with Engineering to resolve technical issues and discrepancies in project documentation.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation plans to prevent delays.
B. Document Control & Compliance
- Monitor the submission of documents as per VMDL and contractual obligations.
- Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ISO 9001:2015, and other relevant industry standards.
- Keep track of any changes in project scope and manage Variation Order (VO) claims.
C. Procurement & Material Coordination
- Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PRs) in line with project specifications and contractual requirements.
- Track and monitor material deliveries and inventory, ensuring alignment with project schedules.
- Coordinate with the Procurement team to resolve material-related issuesand avoid delays.
D. Stakeholder & Client Coordination
- Act as the main point of contact for customers and external parties, addressing project concerns.
- Participate in progress review meetings with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ensure project execution meets customer expectations, specifications, and contractual obligations.
E. Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Quality teams to align project goals.
- Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and project team members.
- Ensure the workforce is informed of project expectations, schedules, and ESH requirements.
F. Risk Management & Incident Reporting
- Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential project execution risks.
- Ensure proper incident reporting and investigation procedures are followed for any project-related issues.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve project safety and performance.
G. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly project progress reports to management.
- Ensure proper documentation of project milestones, changes, and key decisions.
Track and evaluate project KPIs to measure success and areas for improvement.
