Supervisor of Streets/Infrastructure Maintenance

Performs supervisory work over a team of skilled and unskilled workers engaged in a variety of manual tasks, including street maintenance, sidewalk repairs, signage installation and maintenance, and related infrastructure tasks. Schedules and coordinate daily work activities to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. Requires a comprehensive understanding and broad application of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to street maintenance, sidewalks, and signage functions.

• Associate’s degree in business management or related field. 
• Two (2) or more years’ experience relating to construction operations, utilities, maintenance, or repair work; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
• Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements) or obtain within one year of employment. 
• Must have a valid Florida Class B commercial driver's license with satisfactory driving record throughout employment.

Note: Five or more years’ experience related to construction, utilities, maintenance, or repair work may be credited for up to two (2) years of the associate degree requirement.
