Recruitment & Employment Specialist - Home Care

Location: Wilmington, DE (1 day per week in Dover, DE)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Work Environment: Onsite (Not Remote or Hybrid)

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and people-focused Recruitment & Employment Specialist to help attract, hire, and retain exceptional caregivers throughout Delaware.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, connecting with candidates, and making a meaningful impact through recruitment and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Hiring

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified caregivers.
• Source candidates through job boards, referrals, community outreach, and networking events.
• Screen, interview, and select candidates who align with our values and culture.
• Manage the hiring process from initial contact through onboarding.

Onboarding & Employee Engagement

• Conduct new hire orientation and create a welcoming onboarding experience.
• Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives.
• Monitor turnover trends and assist with retention strategies.
• Foster a positive and supportive workplace culture.

Compliance & Administration

• Maintain employee files and onboarding documentation.
• Coordinate background checks, screenings, and hiring requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate recruitment and personnel records.

Operational Support

• Partner with leadership to meet staffing goals.
• Assist with recruiting events and community outreach efforts.
• Respond to staffing needs and support operational priorities as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred

• Experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, healthcare, home care, or customer service.
• Experience interviewing, onboarding, and engaging employees.
• Knowledge of employment documentation and compliance processes.
