As a Armed Security Officer - Patrol Route Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post combines customer service, clear communication, and responsible use of technology to support residents and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a residential housing community.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, parking areas, common areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable armed post protocols.
• Monitor access to the property, observe activity throughout the community, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate relevant information to site management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
