Pathology Courier

We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Pathology Courier Driver to join our Veterinary Diagnostics team in Hamilton, New Zealand.

In this flexible casual role, you will support our courier operations by collecting diagnostic samples from veterinary clinics and safely transporting them to our laboratory for testing. Shifts may be scheduled Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 4:40pm and/or 6:30pm and 12:30am, depending on operational requirements. As a valued member of our Pathology Courier team, you will be the face of IDEXX for many of our clients, providing exceptional service while ensuring samples are delivered accurately and on time.

As a Pathology Courier Driver, you play an important role in supporting veterinary healthcare across New Zealand. You help ensure diagnostic samples reach our laboratory safely and efficiently, enabling veterinarians to make timely decisions that improve animal health and wellbeing. In this role:

• You will collect pathology samples from veterinary clinics across the Hamilton region.

• You will transport samples safely and accurately to our laboratory within required timeframes.

• You will provide professional and friendly customer service to veterinary clients.

• You will represent IDEXX positively as a key point of contact for our customers.

• You will manage collection schedules and routes efficiently.

• You will communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

• You will complete basic administrative and tracking activities using computer systems.

• You will follow all safety, quality, and transportation procedures.

What you need to succeed:

• You will hold a current Full New Zealand Driver Licence.

• You will have a clean driving history and a commitment to safe driving practices.

• You will be available to work a flexible schedule across day and evening shifts.

• You will demonstrate outstanding customer service skills.

• You will have a professional presentation and positive attitude.

• You will possess strong organisational, communication, and time management skills.

• You will be comfortable working independently and managing your own workload.

• You will have basic computer skills.

• Previous courier, delivery, logistics, or customer-facing experience will be highly regarded.
