Area Head of ATR and Financial Controlling

Drive performance improvement in the Finance arena in close partnership with the Area Head of Finance and contribute towards delivery of business priorities. Ensure accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting for external IFRS and local statutory compliance for the Area. Drive impact in business outcomes for the Area, by sparring across functions. Drive and support transformative actions both in the systems and process space in the Area Finance sphere. Drive the overall area performance as an integrated part of the Area Finance leadership team

Responsible for:
1.Drive area finance objectives aligned with Area Head of Finance to achieve right outcomes for the Area
2.Drive consistent compliance with Maersk APMM and local statutory reporting requirements 
3.Fully responsible for accurate completion of Books of Accounts as per defined periodicity and timelines for scoped Area entities for both APMM and Local Statutory books 
4.Own controllership tasks to ensure accurate reporting of Balance Sheet Exposure, suggest required Accounting Adjustments and develop plans to mitigate future exposures
5.Lead the efforts to deliver optimal working capital and liquidity at a holistic Area level in strong collaboration with OTC and PTP area functions
6.Drive and develop efficient processes, challenge the status quo and strive for automation opportunities
7.Translate Organization objectives into actions and drive these by developing and maintaining an engaged team
8.Monitor team performance, set objectives and conduct regular reviews
9.Resolve Finance issues and complexities through partnership and collaboration with the relevant COEs, internal and external stakeholders, GPLs, BPOs, etc.
10.Own internal Controls and Open Audit Actions and drive timely closure
11.Own the conduct of Statutory Audit for scoped entities along with Group Audit with respect to timely completion, filing and mitigation of audit observations. Support other Audits like Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing Audit, or any other Audit as initiated by different Authorities
12.Responsible for preparing all financial material for the legal entities towards the BoD
