Your Job
As an intern in our Cross Module organization, you will contribute to the optimization and digital transformation of manufacturing and maintenance-related processes in a high-tech semiconductor environment. Your responsibilities may include:
Analyzing and optimizing manufacturing and operational processes to improve performance and efficiency
Developing automated data analyses, reports, and dashboards using Python and MATLAB
Supporting Digital Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives
Identifying, evaluating, and implementing process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality
Assisting in the introduction and application of AI-based solutions within the manufacturing environment
Driving the harmonization and standardization of processes, workflows, checklists, and best practices
Collaborating with cross-functional teams from Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, and IT
Documenting project activities, presenting findings, and communicating results to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Enrolled student in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Automation Engineering, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in manufacturing and process optimization
Interest in data analytics, automation, digitalization, and Industry 4.0 technologies
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
Good communication skills in English; German language skills are advantageous
Preferred Qualifications
Initial experience with Python, MATLAB, or comparable programming languages is an advantage
Basic understanding of AI, machine learning, or data-driven decision making is a plus
